Who thinks that poker is a game only for Men? No one should anymore and here is a list of the best women poker players on the scene today.

1. Barbara Enright

Barbara has already accomplished 3 gold bracelets from World Series of Poker. She is also the first female to win a tournament from the World Series of Poker ladies events. In the year 1995 she was also the only female that made it through the final table at the main event at World Series of Poker and finished in 5th place.

2. Jennifer Harman

Jennifer is believed to be the best woman who plays high stakes poker. She has won multiple bracelets from World Series of Poker.

Jennifer on a lighter side is a professor for Poker School. Physically, Jennifer is not intimidating when it comes to looks on the contrary she inspires her opponents with fear. She does not entertain bluffing; she has her own hands to concentrate on.

3. Annie Duke

She is called the "Best all-around women poker player today"; it was Phil Hellmuth who has given her this title.

4. Kathy Liebert

Kathy is one of the very few women that made it to the top 12 Poker tournament. This was during the year 1997 and 1999. Kathy is very open in giving advice and poker strategy to new aspiring poker players.

5. Susie Isaacs

At the main event of the World Series of Poker Susie has come in the 10th position and she has also won two championships from the Women's division of World Series of Poker.

6. Wendeen Eolis

In the World Series of Poker's history Wendeen is the first women who finished in the money twice. Binion's World Series of Poker has issued Wendeen a commemorative chip to recognize her contribution to the "women's milestone" in the final event of World Series of Poker.

Wendeen is also the only female who appeared and won the no-limit event in the European Open. Along with all her great achievements she is also an author of her own book about all her adventures in playing poker.

7. Cycalona "Clonie" Gowen

Clonie, as her friends call her, is the newest player of poker yet she has already won $25,000 at the Belagio World Poker Tour championship at the ladies night, this was held at the Bicycle casino last September.

Clonie has also finished at 10th position at Costa Rica's World Poker Tour Classic.

8. Cindy Violette

Cindy prefers to play poker with action. She can be an aggressive poker player like any man can be at the poker table.

9. Nani Dollison

You can describe Nani in simple words, an aggressive tournament player, she is known as being a high-stakes player. At the Women's championship in the year 2000 Nani walked home with an awesome $53,200.

10. Cissy Bottoms

Cissy is the only player from this list that does not enter any tournament. She prefers to play at live poker games or ring games only.
